		<description>Works under the supervision of the Technology Support Coordinator and is responsible for operating the UAFS Service Desk and performing computer operations duties.  Primary duties include: answer the Technology Support Service Desk phone, log requests into Service Now, determine what is required to restore the service, and initiate the appropriate action; troubleshoot issues with faculty, staff, and students; reset passwords; unlock locked accounts; monitor technology support e-mail and voice mail; and contact users for additional information and/or to troubleshoot issues.  Additional duties will include: update and maintain technology support inventory and yearly computer equipment inventory; assist students with setup of wireless notebooks and ID card issues; assist technicians with service calls as available; backup night operator as needed; perform payroll backups when requested; send targeted announcements/e-mails when requested; and perform other duties as required and/or assigned. Routine work schedule is Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.  Occasional "on call" duty is required. Extended hours occasionally required.</description>

This position will manage a personal portfolio of major gift donors and prospects; serve as liaison for development to an academic dean; oversee daily operations for development; and represent the Vice Chancellor for University Advancement in her absence.  Other duties include: work with the vice chancellor and development staff to complete a $50 million campaign; lead the development team through annual and long range strategic planning process; evaluate and improve the prospect management process and lead bi-weekly prospect management meetings; develop and implement a system of metrics to help development officers and prospect researcher manage priorities; work closely with executive editor of advancement to identify stories for regular publications including print and web mediums; and perform other duties as required and/or assigned.  Some evening and weekend work is required, as well as travel to visit donor prospects and to attend professional conferences.</description>

The public safety officer has regular contact with students, faculty, staff, and visitors to the campus.  Primary responsibilities include patrol of the campus for suspicious or unlawful activities and making the proper responses as required; conduct inspection of all floors of each building, parking lots, and areas of the campus including off-campus University owned properties; continually check for unauthorized persons, break-ins, unlocked doors and windows, safety violations, fires, flooding, malfunctioning food storage equipment, etc.; enforce parking regulations; arrest and detain violators when necessary; preserve the safety of citizens, oneself, and fellow officers utilizing training tactics and, if necessary, reasonable force; testify in court as required; respond to requests for assistance, such as: lock/unlock buildings and offices as necessary, perform security checks, and assist stranded motorists and others requiring assistance.  Other duties include maintaining a daily activity report of all actions taken on his/her shift and a University patrol vehicle-mileage log; and filing incident and offense reports as necessary. Primary responsibilities include receiving emergency and non-emergency calls for service, determining the nature and severity of calls received, and initiating the appropriate response, to include dispatching UPD officers and requesting response from fire department, emergency medical, or other agency police personnel; using computer database to retrieve driver's license and vehicle information, check for warrants, and access other law enforcement data; monitoring and recording the status of patrol officers; maintaining accurate log of calls for service and response activity; assisting officers with report entry; and performing other related duties as required and/or assigned.  Position is governed by law enforcement standards and institution policy.  Work schedule requires some shift work and a flexible schedule.</description>
